Conservation of the Especes Marine
CĂ´te d’Ivoire
For some time now, there have been indications that sea turtles are laying their eggs on the coast in southwest CĂ´te d’Ivoire. There is still no single protected area for a stretch of coastline, however with the help of partners, this non-governmental organization, together with the population of a stretch of coastline at Grand BĂ©rĂ©by, aims to create a positive future for humans and animals. CEM has initiated a process with the aim of establishing a marine reserve in southwestern CĂ´te d’Ivoire near Grand Bereby.
