Forêt pour le Développement Intégral (FODI)

FODI contributes to the participatory and sustainable management of forest ecosystems through the reduction of deforestation, the protection of animal species threatened with extinction including gorillas and chimpanzees; the sustainable development of the environment through development activities and actions (rehabilitation of basic infrastructure: construction of schools, development of agricultural access roads, development of water sources, education in water hygiene and sanitation, etc.) compatible with the proper use of resources; and to conflict resolution and the protection of children in difficult situations in forest and mining areas.
