Guarding our forests
Rainforest Trust Conservation Fellows & Guardians work tirelessly to patrol and secure our protected areas. Their critical roles require surveying land, clearing invasive species, monitoring wildlife populations, removing snares and traps, preventing illegal logging, working with local communities and more. Rainforest Trust supports this work by:
- Providing technology and tools such as handheld data collection devices, survey equipment, drones, camera traps, trail clearing and snare removal tools.
- Financing training programs to improve program efficiency, improve data collection, prevent fires or work with communities.
- Supporting minor infrastructure improvements including guard stations, canoes, and fencing.
Help our Fellows & Guardians carry out their important work to protect habitat, save endangered species and care for communities by donating today.
