We contribute to the conservation of birds, their habitats, and the country’s biodiversity, for the benefit of the people and with their active participation. We promote sustained research on birds and other associated fauna and flora that informs priority conservation actions. We support the empowerment of local communities to defend nature and generate livelihoods compatible with conservation. We influence public policies by generating information that supports decision-making by local and national authorities. We promote a better-informed society through environmental education and communication, the dissemination of up-to-date information, and the development of local capacities.
