Sarah Gillman  is a purpose-driven leader with a passion for making a meaningful impact. Starting as a management consultant, Sarah has served as COO or CFO at Barnard College, The New York Botanical Garden, Children’s Aid, Ethical Culture Fieldston School and the Natural Resources Defense Council.

In addition to her business experience, Sarah has extensive board expertise with audit, investment, finance, and executive committees. She earned her M.B.A. from Columbia University Business School, an M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree from Yale University.

Sarah loves oceans and estuaries, mountains and forests, and hopes to see them flourish for the sake of people, plants and wildlife. The mother of two adult sons, Sarah lives in New York, spends time on the water, and cares deeply about community and family.
