Nuria joined the Rainforest Trust team in February 2023 as the Human Resources Associate. Prior to joining the team, Nuria worked with the Equality Fund as an Human Resources Coordinator.

Originally from Canada, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Queen’s University and her Master’s degree in Industrial Relations also from Queen’s University.  As an human resources professional, Nuria possesses experience in several aspects of HR including recruitment, employee engagement, DEI, benefits administration and change management.

In her spare time, Nuria can be found outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and binge watching TV shows.
