Kelly comes to Rainforest Trust with a background in biology. She holds a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and Sustainability from the University of Maryland, and a Masters in Integrative Biological Diversity from Western Connecticut State University, where she conducted research on a species of native aquatic plant. She is passionate about conservation—in particular sharing and generating knowledge of conservation through social media and online channels. In her spare time Kelly can be found outdoors, hiking with her dog, or trying to keep houseplants alive.
