Karyn Bryant joined Rainforest Trust in 2024 as Director of Philanthropy, Annual and Planned Giving. She works with her team to connect our supporters’ passions with projects that are safeguarding habitat for endangered species and addressing climate change.

Her love of nature began at a young age exploring the plants and animals in her Midwestern backyard and grew into a deep-seeded passion for conservation worldwide. With almost two decades of experience in philanthropy at both conservation and humanitarian organizations, she cares deeply about wildlife, climate science and people alike. We are all connected.

Karyn holds a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, has held multiple non-profit advisory and board seats and is part of her local planned giving association. She and her family now reside in California and you can find her exploring the Sierra or the coast, traveling, cooking, watching a documentary or admiring the birds just about wherever she finds herself.
