Jim Slattery joined Rainforest Trust as a Financial Analyst in September of 2023. Jim has a variety of financial planning and analysis experience in organizations of various sizes and missions. Most recently, he was working in the for-profit sector with smaller startups but earlier in his career he worked for the federal government and in non-profit consulting. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in economics. After university, he served as a small business development volunteer with the Peace Corps in northern Peru. In his free time Jim loves to stay active by playing sports, hiking, and kayaking. He’s also an avid traveler and loves to visit Central and South America in particular.
